Pandemic Voting Project

Elections continue, even as the COVID-19 pandemic impacts the whole world. How will citizens vote safely during this time, when two-thirds of voters do not feel comfortable at the polls?

Show Me Integrity Educational Fund’s Pandemic Voting Project worked to overcome the pandemic’s difficult barriers to voting by mail. We supported the entire state and with the goals of:

  • Developing absentee ballot request web platform to register and obtain an absentee ballot using only smartphone. This will also include reminders to vote.

  • Promoting how to vote absentee in the media.

  • Promoting with as many community groups as possible to help voters get their ballots.

We’re proud of what we accomplished. With MOVote.org, the platform developed through this project, we helped over 16,000 voters safely request absentee ballots and vote in the November 2020 election.
